The tubing used for the Alupont scaffolds is made from a special aluminium alloy with a high resistance and an increased thickness of 2 mm. in respect to the usual measure of 1.5 mm. used by many. This ensures the scaffold has robustness without comparison, a superior breaking strength and that it will last over time.
The anti-extension binding clamp is made in crushproof stainless steel. Whilst the worker is assembling the scaffold at a height, there is no need to intervene manually with the clamp to carry out locking, and during the disassembly stage the clamp assumes a rest position and can not be removed.
Base extenders of varying sizes and models to provide for every requirement. They can be assembled in a staggered way or provided with a wheel for avoiding the disassembly of the scaffold during movement also over obstacles, while the simplest models are provided with articulated feet with rubber soles which ensure great stability and the perfect positioning of the scaffold, even on non-flat surfaces.

Work platforms with trapdoor, non-slip wooden surface made from Finnish Birch trees and suitably waterproofed, mounted on a robust aluminium frame which protects it from shocks and overuse. All of the platforms are provided with an effective safety system against accidental lifting.
Example of passing through the trapdoor with small internal service ladders provided with every version of the 3001 series or applicable by choice later on. A small service ladder with large steps, 83 mm. is also available.

The connection of the cross-beams to the uprights through the use of self-coupling “hooks” is particularly fast. The cross-beam’s hooks which are in die cast aluminium, have been designed and manufactured so that they are able to resist shocks and to impede the possible accidental detachment in all conditions of use thanks to the anodized aluminium locking ratchet

Alupont vertical uprights have a border on the lower section rather than sharp edges. This provides shockproofing and an easy insertion of the upper beam. The die cast aluminium insertion plug is recommended for easing the connection and guarantees quick automatic coupling of the uprights by means of a special stainless steel clamp which has already been applied.
Nylon pivoting wheels which are certificated in compliance with European regulation HD 1004, with a crushproof, non-marking polyurethane support band. The locking is carried out through use of a double braking device that when activated connects the wheel to the upright which blocks its movement, providing maximum rigidness and stability. The wheel is fitted onto a telescopic leg which permits a millimetric screw levelling up to 35 cm. permitting it to compensate for inclines or differences in height without making it more difficult to move the scaffold
